As individuals experience events and interactions, they give meaning to those experiences and they, in turn, influence how they see themselves and the world. Narrative therapy focuses on helping individuals re-author the stories they tell about their lives.

Narrative Therapy helps individuals see that they are not defined by their problems and that they have the ability to change their narrative and live according to their own values.
